Trump said for him school safety is a top priority. He said he will meet with governors from all 50 states and would be holding a meeting on the subject this week and next week also.
In an event at White House, Trump said “We must move past cliches and tired debates and focus on evidence-based solutions and security measures that actually work. We must actually make a difference. We must do more to protect our children.”
Trump said this week he will meet with students, local leaders, and member of law enforcement to discuss the issue with a view of taking concrete decision to safeguard students and communities.
